Error Code 8000ffff

Last Sunday I installed the new WLM 2009 (Build 14.0.8064.206). I have not
been able to login since then. I click login and get a window pop-up which
states "We can't sign you in to Windows Live Messenger. Signing in to
Windows Live Messengaer has failed because the service is temporaruly
unavailable. Please try again later." Error Code: 8000ffff

I have uninstalled all live programs via add and remove programs then ran CC
Cleaner. Reinstalled again and received the same error. I have uninstalled
all live programs via Revo and then CC Cleaner. I have tried to install a
previous version of the beta via the .msi and I received the same message. I
uninstalled that version and went back to the new 2009 version and installed
everything and tried it again and still got the same message.

I read the other posts about installing via the .msi and the contact.msi so
I tried that and when I installed the contacts.msi it errors and states
"Newer version of contacts platform is already installed." I have gone
through the uninstall and reinstall numerous ways and times to get nowhere
with it. I have even uninstalled Outlook 2007 thinking maybe it might be
interferring someway. Windows Live Mail also errors out after opening,
"Sorry, something unexpected happened and Windows Live Mail must close. Your
most recent changes may not be saved."

I'm not sure of what else I can do? Oh yeah I also get an error with
Windows Update (Code: 800700 C1) not sure if its related or not but thought I
would inform. Please help, I use WLM frequently.
