Custom Content Error

OS: Vista Home Premium x64, 2.0 dual core processor, 512 mb of Nvidia graphics, computer is updated, computer less then 2 months old.

WLM installed and winks will not work. I have tried to download the custom content (winks and emoticons) from kiwee, and it sends me an error stating that custom content could not be installed at this time and to try later. The winks tab works, (isn't greyed out) and displays whats available from kiwee, but only shows blank white boxes under recently used. The winks WLM comes preinstalled with aren't even available. I go to my WLM folder (under my documents) and the winks are all located under the object store folder as should be. Friends send me winks, and the name of the wink is visable, and underlined. But the wink image is blank and will not play.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled WLM idk how many times, I have tried repairing it, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything from flash to java, to quicktime, anything. Nothing seems to work. I have the english version of WLM, but what point that makes idk. (seen someone ask this in another thread) I am about ready to rip out WLM and go with trillian or someother chat program if I can't get this fixed. My custom emoticons work, I can download those from kiwee, (did it to test and see if it would crap out on me too) but they work thus far. And for some reason my handwriting feature doesn't want to work either. I can bring up the tools for it click on things, but go to write or draw, and get nothing but blank space.

I'm fairly computer literate, but this one has me stumped to the point that I'm about to give it the finger and B*tch slap the #@$& thing till it yells "mommy" & does what its told!

Any help would be appreciated. Please & Thank You!
