| | contact addition? hi, I just got this message in an e mail as a network invitation Hi there!, i hope I'm not annoying you, I just came across you're page in the search and you seem cool I know I don't have much info in my profilebut u can see my other page if you'd like to see more, friends-island.org?id=2545 (my name over there is allstargirlie). it'd be cool if we could chat sometime :-P hope to check you soon, Kayleigh Bell . that was an invitation that popped up on my messenger. I chose to not add add them but for some reason they are on my block list as if I did. is there a way to have it like it used to be when unless you added someone to your messenger list as well that they wouldn't appear on the view screen of the ones who have added you? -- Four Generations Of Trust And Betrayal...One Legacy Skywolfe |

| | Re: contact addition? Hey Skywolfe, BTW, do you prefer Rage or Skywolfe? Anyway, I personally get a bunch of these every day via Spaces (although this past week, they've been tamed down a bit for some reason), but that sounds more like a direct add if it went to your block list. That said, I'm not completely sure what you mean, it's never been any different (with the exception of recently with the invites from Spaces). But given it's obviously a spammer, more than likely their account will be gone soon and they'll just disappear from your Privacy category lists. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Rage Skywolfe" <RageSkywolfe@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:CAAB358D-D061-4EF5-9E7D-047199C03476@xxxxxx Quote: > hi, I just got this message in an e mail as a network invitation > > Hi there!, i hope I'm not annoying you, I just came across you're page in > the search and you seem cool I know I don't have much info in my profile> but u can see my other page if you'd like to see more, > friends-island.org?id=2545 (my name over there is allstargirlie). it'd be > cool if we could chat sometime :-P hope to check you soon, Kayleigh Bell . > that was an invitation that popped up on my messenger. | | Re: contact addition? yeah it did go to the block list but I unchecked the box that said add this person to your contact list. and yet it is still in the view box... this is the first time I have gotten something like that on messenger. I have had random people add me but they have been names and addressesnot messages and addresses so it must be something new floating around. it just used to be that if you unchecked that box that said add this person to your contact list it wouldn't show up in the box that says the following people have added you to their contact list in the privacy box. -- Four Generations Of Trust And Betrayal...One Legacy Skywolfe "Jonathan Kay [MVP]" wrote: Quote: > Hey Skywolfe, > > BTW, do you prefer Rage or Skywolfe? > > Anyway, I personally get a bunch of these every day via Spaces (although this past week, > they've been tamed down a bit for some reason), but that sounds more like a direct add if it > went to your block list. > > That said, I'm not completely sure what you mean, it's never been any different (with the > exception of recently with the invites from Spaces).
