Vista - clean unstall of windows live 2009

how do I do an actual clean install of windows live 2009? is it even possible?

Hi Skywolfe,

Yes it is, although a complete full "clean" install is rather in depth. Even I haven't
bothered to go through and look up exactly what that would entail for the latest version (to
be honest, I haven't had any need).

That said, there's two main things you can remove that really make a difference, besides what
the standard uninstall would remove for you. That's
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger and the Messenger folder contained within
\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Messenger (Vista/7) or \Documents and
Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger (XP).

Personally if you're testing something, I would just rename them as opposed to deleting them,
as then you can revert the change rather rapidly.
