Live Messenger Sign-In Issues.

Hi there, just looking for some quick explanations.
I'm not sure if anyone can help me, but randomly yesterday my windows live messenger started acting weird.
I went to sign in and it kept saying "we cannot sign you in at this time because your contact list is not available" i tried making a new accout, using an old account and still nothing. i deleted, re-installed and still nothing. I ultimately had to revert back to Msn 8.1.
does anyone know why this was happening or how to fix it? thanks for taking time to read this and any potential help.

Re: Live Messenger Sign-In Issues.

I have finally fixed the problem with signing in described above. I dont know if it will work for you guys, but its worth a try.

1) go to Control Panel
2) go to Add/Remove Programs
3) Find Windows Live Essentials and click "Change/Remove"
4) When asked what type of operation you wish to do, choose "Repair" and let the program work its magic.
5) Restart Windows and you should be back in order.

Hope this works!
