WLM 2008 (8.5.1302.1018)

Yes I know, it's not WLM 2009 cause I don't want 2009 ;-)

But ... without any action from my side, WLM 2008 is downloading
wlsetup-cvr.exe, a 35 Mb file (I guess it's the file that is the update to
WLM 2009). I can remove it but each time WLM is downloading it and puts it
on my HD without my permission: does it all by itself. Is there a way to
stop this invasive behaviour or is it only possible by making a rule in my
firewall to refuse this file?

Ok, did put it in my firewall list and prob is gone. Has one other big
advantage but I am not going to mention it, might bring some Live peeps on
bad idea's concerning WLM 2008 ;-)

Hi. I have a same problem. wlsetup-crv.exe. I do not use firewall except windows defender. How can i fix this problem, an automatic messenger update? I do not want new messenger.

Please help. Are there any solution for it?
