I never go there but did look now and it's a redirect to something weird called Bing? Maybe you downloaded something infected form that (maybe fishy?) site? Menno |

| | Re: 3D Emoticons instllation? Greetings scuzzy, I see the same screen here, except there is a "Suivant" (In English, "Next") button at the bottom right-hand side. I tried a few things to try and get the same result you did without success -- including disabling my network connection and uninstalling Messenger. Neither seemed to change anything and the button remained. However, it does do that small bit of downloading data at the beginning and uses Internet Explorer to do it. Is your Internet Explorer is healthy condition (able to browse, etc.)? If not, then that could be the problem. Regardless, there's only 10 of them, so I've zipped up the emoticons and you can just manually add the ones you want into Messenger yourself. | | Re: 3D Emoticons instllation? Thank you very much Jonathan for the zip file. Problem with me was that the "Suivant" button was on far right side and was not visible since window was not resizable. I used a utility called Pistachio to resize its window and the button became visible enabling me to install. BTW your blog and resource web sites are excellent. Yesterday I spent hours going through them in detail and learned a lot. Thanks a lot for your hard work. | | Re: 3D Emoticons instllation? Hi, Ah, I suspected something like that. Good work. Unfortunately there also didn't appear to be any keyboard combination to trigger the button either. Just out of curiosity, what locale do you have Windows in as I'm curious to why it would be so off the screen -- for instance, are you using a RTL (right to left) language? Thanks for your kind comments, I really appreciate it ![]() -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "scuzzy" <suzzy_@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:#cWHWFcDKHA.1380@xxxxxx Quote: > Thank you very much Jonathan for the zip file. | | Re: 3D Emoticons instllation? Whoever created that installer package should have left Min/Max buttons intact. Another point about this software that it changed my home page and search engine preferences in IE and FireFox. ![]() Anyway. Yes I have added Arabic/Urdu locale (RTL) as secondary language. OS default is US English. "Jonathan Kay [MVP]" <msnewsreplies@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:uqnUQ1mDKHA.4792@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, > > Ah, I suspected something like that. Good work.
