Where is it?

I've tried to download Live Messenger from MS but the installer says I
already have it. Where is it? I've tried looking in Program files. Looked
for a start menu item called Windows Live Essentials. Searched "Live
messenger", "messenger" and "Windows live messenger" - nothing. Add/Remove
programs had an entry for unistalling Live Essentials but when I clicked it
it said it wasn't there and did I want to remove it from the list? Where is
this thing located?Or, how do I convince the installer that I don't already
have it?

Many thanks....
Ripper

Re: Where is it?

Greetings Ripper,

Use ZapMessenger to fix this problem:

Then you can go ahead and download/install Messeger again.
