| | MSN Hacking Hi, I've been using my new msn for about 2 months now & I've been noticing that someone has been hacking onto my account. It seems like they would just sign on, send everyone on my list virus links and then log off. How can I stop this hacking? |

| | Re: MSN Hacking Greetings Leigha, I'm afraid this isn't "hacking". This is actually the result of yourself or someone else with your credentials giving away your username and password to a non-Microsoft online web form which is using your credentials to do this. I gave a brief run down on his works and what to do here on my blog: http://messengergeek.spaces.live.com...DA1!2285.entry The important thing to note though is that since someone else now has your password, you need to change your password so they can no longer use it. You can do so at the following link: https://account.live.com/ChangePassword.aspx Also, if you use the same Windows Live ID e-mail address and password combination on another websites (Facebook, etc.) you will also want to change your password there as well. -- Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Leigha W" <lovemywidereceiver00@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:76EDD47B-347C-4B17-8062-2A1003C2C884@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, > I've been using my new msn for about 2 months now > & I've been noticing that someone has been hacking onto my account. > It seems like they would just sign on, send everyone on my list virus links and then log > off. > How can I stop this hacking? |
