| | Video Chat not working in version 2009 I am running Windows Live Messenger Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8064.206). With this version I am unable to start or receive video chats. I can do regular IM chats. The video chat window opens and the recipient sees the incoming call but even though they try to accept it, nothing happens and eventually my outgoing call times out with an error that says: "Messenger is not available right now. Please try again later. (0x80ee000c)" I have researched this and it appears many are having the same problem and it appears to be tied to the 2009 version of Live Messenger. The only fix (it's actually a workaround) that seems to have worked is to uninstall the 2009 version and install an earlier version such as 8.5 Is this indeed the only "fix"? |
