The new MSN won't install because it rolls back?

Hi, for months now ever since the newest MSN has been available for download
i have not been able to install it. It gets to 100% then rolls back and fails
to complete any of the installation. Before i install it, it says the
following programs need to be closed, one of them is always a 'csrss' file
that i have no idea what it does or is. I click the 'close programs for me'
and it says it does that but as i said it fails to install. Can anyone help
me as everytime i try to install it the more i get frustrated!

I have tried installing this file from a previous post but i get an error so
that fails to install aswell:

I am running Windows Vista 32-bit if thats any help.

Would appreciate it if somebody could help me ASAP as i really would like
the new MSN.
