The Live Messenger Team is trying to find customers that are currently running into the Disappearing Contacts issue to help us try and diagnose the problem. We've found that it's machine specific but have yet to isolate the cause as we only get random reports and our attempts at setting up debugging sessions with some customers have failed. Please email me at livebeta_nick@newsgroup if you meet the following criteria: 1. Any time you upgrade to our recent release your contacts disappear 2. You would be willing to set up a Remote Assistance session with someone from Microsoft. (If you have verified that Remote Assistance works on your machine, even better). 3. (Ideally) you are based in the US. Our goal is to try and get everyone fixed as soon as we can! Thanks Nick Windows Live Messenger Team. |

The working computer doesn't have this. Not sure, if this is of any help though. Thanks.
