| | Lost messages... I have a PC running XP with the latest updates applied with WLM version 2009 (build 14.0.8064.206) that is having a problem with lost messages. There is no error message or anything when this happens. The lost messages are being sent to several different people and being received from several different people (or tried to receive). This is a home user behind a Belkin router (not a LinkSys). This was working fine up until a month or so ago then random messages started getting dropped. Can anyone offer any suggestion on what this might be and how we can fix it? Thanks in advance on any help you can provide! C |

| | Re: Lost messages... Greetings Calvin, Just for interest, can you provide a few samples of the lost messages? | | Re: Lost messages... Thanks for your reply. I am sorry but I don't understand what you are asking for. There are no template messages or anything just 2 users/people sending IMs back and forth. Can some one please help me with this issue? Or help me troubleshoot it? thanks! | | Re: Lost messages... I can provide a sample because I have recently started having the same problem. About 10% of the messages I send do not arrive at the other end. An example of one such message: "Hey" This problem started when I moved my work computer, which I use windows live messenger on, from work to my home office.
