MSN crashing down vista

I experienced the MSN crashing down the Vista 32 when trying to star. I find out that the antivirus on was causing this and with the antivirus off the MSN could start perfectly. So, I am using avast antivirus and the problem is in “Instant Messaging” provider.
To solve the problem it is necessary to click twice on avast icon to open its window, then click twice on “Instant Messaging” icon and unmark the “MSN / Windows Messenger”.
PROBLEM SOLVE!

Re: MSN crashing down vista

Greetings,

Yeah this isn't a new thing - it's not just Avast either as other AV software has this
problem (or something similar). In most cases, these options can be turned off and you still
will be protected since they have real-time scanning anyway.
