Windows Live Today has stopped automatically opening upon signing in.

For the past several days, Windows Live Today does not open upon signing in anymore.

1) I have checked the setting (Show Windows Live Today after I sign into Messenger) under Tools/Options/Sign In and I have the checkbox checked for that.

2)I have tried repairing Messenger under Windows Live Essentials in Programs and Features and also uninstalling Messenger and redownloading it and reinstalling it several times to no avail.

3) I've also tried system restore and that did not work either.

4) I have also tried disabling my antivirus to see if that would work and it did not.

It must be something in the registry that needs to be fixed? I think if I can completely remove Messenger from my computer, and then redownload it again and reinstall it, it might work properly again?-How do I completely remove it? I am using the latest Messenger (Version 2009, Build 14.0.8089.726).

Thanks
Tonya
