Vista - Internet Keeps Getting Disconnected Because Of Windows Live!

Everytime that I log onto Windows Live Messanger, after a couple of minutes my internet connection disconnects. I have tried scanning my computer with a malware program and nothing is coming up. Also I have reformatted my entire computer and that didnt help either. I contacted my ISP and they came out to check the internet connection and they reinstalled the internet so everything is working properly. The main box for the DSL is in my parnets room and I have wireless. I am currently using Norton Antivirus and Firewall and nothing seems to be blocking the connections on Windows Live because it logs in just fine. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!
