HI, i've started to have this issue and i've tried all sorts of things to get
it back tow ork... and after trying to sign in for like 20 mins it finally
pops an error saying that its having issues connecting to the internet...but
obviously.. my computer can connect to it... and i've been able to use MSN on
this laptop before...



one day i signed off and since then it wont let me sign in again.. i dunno
why.

im weary about using that because this topic was from the yr 2006 and well
it could be outdated. Im using a Dell laptop with windows vista and the
latest MSN with MSN Plus!

Just to quickly isolate where the problem might be, try signing into another Messenger
account (if you don't have one, just go sign up for a Hotmail account). Assuming that
yielded the same result, try making a new account within Windows, then login to that new
account and try your existing Messenger account in that Windows profile.

That'll at least answer a few questions to isolate specifically what you can do to "reset"
Messenger in either your Windows profile or otherwise, as that's usually what causes this
behaviour.
