For over a year I have helped family and friends with computer problems through Messenger Remote Assistence. As of the last month with all the updates I have not been able to connect to remotely to any of my family or friends Desktops through Messenger.
Sceniro: They will send me a invite through the messenger, I will accept. We wait a few minutes and I receive a White Screen for Remote Access which says that it is attempting to connect... Mean while the party I am attempting to connect with or that requested the assistance will normally receive a box that they click on that will complete the connection between the to systems... Well that box is no longer showing up for them to verify final acceptance... At this point I will now receive a error message that says something to the effect "That the person that has requested assistance or that I am attempting to help has not accepted and has left their computer"..... then it automatically disconnects
I am currently utilizing a Sony Vaio, Windows Vista 32 Home Premium SP2 and family & friends are utilizing XP Professional SP2 all systems are updated and the 3389 Port is utilized along with static IP addresses....

Is anyone else experiencing this same problem these days since recents updates from Windows Live that include all the features? What have you done or tried to rectify your problems???????
