Re: OneCare renewal

Bill:
Contact Amazon, as this page -
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...?nodeId=468518
explains that you can print the rebate from the web site listing. However, I see
the same looping behavior here on the Amazon site.

Re: OneCare renewal

Thanks for confirming the problem, Stephen. I sent their customer service
an e-mail.

Re: OneCare renewal

I hope that they resolve it soon as I just checked and the rebate form is still
not appearing for me in IE7. I also tried it with the pop-up blocker off.

Re: OneCare renewal

The link to the form is there you're just looking in the wrong place. First,
click where it says rebate and the page will refresh. After the page
refreshes there will be a new link a little farther down that will bring up
the rebate sheet.

Re: OneCare renewal

Took a while, but I found it:
http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/image...260000516_.pdf

The link for rebate that needs to be clicked for the refresh, which then loads
the section for "rebate" within the main page, is not the banner and circle with
Rebate in it, but the one up in the product details.

That worked for me. By the way, Amazon e-mailed me that direct link, but
for whatever reason I could not get to it. I have IE7 but I also have IE7
pro installed, which apparently kept trying to use its own internal download
manager to download the PDF file, and kept failing. I finally clicked the
"download with IE" button on IE7 Pro and it opened it with adobe, so I was
able to finally print it out. Amazon was nice enough to respond to my
second inquiry and said they'd snail-mail me a form. Strangely, it said in
the message that the form should have come with the CD, so maybe I'll end up
with three of these forms.

I love IE7Pro, but I always disable its download manager. :-)
