Security Center Warnings

Why have I suddenly started getting Security Centre warnings about Firewall
and Malware being off when One Care says all is OK?
Everything has been working fine with One Care running under Vista Ultimate
for over a year now until the last few days

The WMI database used by Windows Security Center is likely corrupt. See this
