| is onecare enviromentally friendly? having just renewed my subscription by purchasing a new onecare box (complete with DVD + instructions + plastic box) because it was 50% cheaper than by renewing online with microsoft. I have realised that all I needed was the 25 figure number in the box not all the other stuff. Why can't microsoft make a system that allows you to purchase the 25 figure number (similar to the mobile phone top ups used in the UK). this would allow the user to simplify the renewal procedure and also allowing microsoft to not produce the unused DVD's, plastic boxes and other stuff. any thoughts! -- Regards Geoff Oborne MI Hort Information contained in the e-mail is intended for the use of the addressee only, and is confidential and may be the subject of Legal Professional Privilege. | Re: is onecare enviromentally friendly? Amen to that! I thought it was sorta dumb to have to go buy OneCare for 30.00 USD less than the renewal price online. As another poster pointed out, the CD in the package was never used. "StephenB" <sboots@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:toj1r31dr15e73ulqhaep4qsdjkqonub1i@xxxxxx

| Re: is onecare enviromentally friendly? There must be a lot of people willing to pay the full renewal price or MS wouldn't do it. But it doesn't seem reasonable. Stephen, please pass along to your contacts in MS that their OneCare customers don't appreciate getting gouged like that.
