| remove from 1 computer to add to another? Hello All, I have the three allotted computers with a single OneCare subscription. I am not using the circle feature. I am buying a new computer and giving away one of the old computers of the three. Can I remove OneCare from the computer I am getting rid of and put it on the new one and if so what would be the procedure to let MS know I want to move my subscription from one computer to another if allowable? TIA peggy |

| Re: remove from 1 computer to add to another? ok I know I would use the same user and password but if it only allows 3 computers for one license how will it know that I don't still have it on the third computer and want to activate it on the 4th? peggy "peter" <peterk@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:7B6F55BA-5FC2-4D83-8A23-3B0CA558992F@xxxxxx

| Re: remove from 1 computer to add to another? As long as you are running it on only 3 computers, you are within the terms of the license. Optionally, make one PC a hub and then expand the details on the hub for the PC you wish to remove OneCare from. There will be a link to remove that PC from the Circle. Once you've done that, select the option to have the PC not be a hub any longer and uninstall OneCare from the target PC. Install to the new PC. Note that you don't have to do the optional bits. Simply removing OneCare from the old PC and activating on the new one is fine. -steve "Peggy" <nospamnono@xxxxxx> wrote:
