Tune will not complete

This has been working fine for months, and today it stops in the middle of
the virus scan and turns off one care. The error I get is:
Service Executable, MsMpEng.exe

What's happening?
Thanks

If it happens again after a reboot of the PC and running a virus scan or a
tuneup manually, please contact support, Tony.
