| | lost jpegs i switched my new vista laptop on and didn't realise my ext hard drive was on . The software then did a volume check on the hd and afterwards most of my jpegs started to vanish on screen ie the thumbnail started to grey out as if being hit by a virus. Most of the jpegs were canon origin my fuji and sony ones were not affected . seems they are unrecoverable , oddly though the new release of viewer from canon allows me to view the lost thumbnails but cant open them help pls -- regards Mike |
