Have you tried installing Windows Live
Photo Gallery?

Windows Live Photo Gallery
http://get.live.com/photogallery/overview

released 11-06-2007

What is the format of the images that
cause the issue?

What picture file formats and video file
formats are supported by Photo Gallery?

Hi John,
Yes John, I downloaded it today Win Live Photo Gallery. It didn't make a
difference
at all. I sent the unopended icons to other editing programs they shown up
as images that
were taken sideways with the camera. I straighten them out and saved in Win
Photo Gallery
in upright position they became visible in full view. Photo Gallery hasn't
got converter to
straighten pictures outomatically graphics as some programs do.
At least for now I couldn't find it till now I'll look for it.

Thank you very much John for your help.
Marian
