printing in windows photo gallery

I have a problem with printing in windows photo gallery (vista). Every time
when I try to print a picture or text in windows photogallery the picture
(which is in portrait) is reshaped - and at the same time distorted - in
landscape format. What can I do about it?

Thanks,

Peter Ingelse

Re: printing in windows photo gallery

Meanwhile I found out that this is a Vista-bug. It already exists more than a year and nothing has been done about it!

Someone found out a workaround. see: http://www.petri.co.il/forums/showthread.php?t=13696 message #22. He or she wrote:

I refused to give up on finding a fix for this problem. I found a website at www.tucows.com/preview/194967 When you download the FREE program, it will ask you which file types do you want to associate with this program. I chose the tif, tiff file type. Then when I went to outlook and opened a tif file, it was showing properly. You can then print it or send it to a pdf converter for easier use. (cutepdf.com) is FREE! I hope this helps.
And it works!

Re: printing in windows photo gallery

I would really like to know if you see this problem with Windows Live Photo Gallery. Have you tried to download it and us it to print? (Download it at http://get.live.com)
