Re: Best Tv tuner

Dvico have released a dual hdtv tuner for $140.
Dvico launches FusionHDTV7 dual HDTV tuner - TV Squad

I think it is on sale only in the US at the minute but they do deliver to the UK and even with international delivery its not bad value.

Re: Best Tv tuner

hauppauge is by far in my opinion one of the best i have had 2 different modles and vista had no problems with them vista even had drivers i did not have to install any thing. the cards were the pvr-150 and pvr-500 they are analog which will soon be out of date. but i have never had a single problem. the pvr 500 is dual tuner w/ FM radio this is so i could record and watch 2 channels at same time. i hope this helps

for pc? any ideas. need it to connect AV inputs (Yellow, Red & White) amd possibly an ariel leed
I had a lot of trouble finding a card that actually worked with vista, I have a Hauppauge right now it works great on MCE. It called Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II, it also has AV inputs which (once the drivers from Windows Update are installed) also work on MCE. If you get a Hauppauge, like eggyuk said, don’t use the software it comes with it is ugly, just let Windows Update get the drivers.
