Vista - VMC Tuner only picks up BBC channels

I have just upgraded to Vista Ultimate 64 as I needed the 4Gb of RAM. Everything works apart from the TV tuner (Hauppauge Nova TD-500), I set it to scan, it gets to 39% and then slows down, it finds 5 of the BBC channels (1, 2, 3, cbbc, news 24), it will then take about 30 minutes to finish scanning and will not find any other channel.

It is not the aerial as I have my old computer (vista Ultimate 32) with a TV tuner (use to have the Hauppauge Nova TD-500) and that finds 30 odd channels on the same aerial cable.

I have read many forums of the tuner not working at all or working perfectly, but no one who only picks up one multiplex like mine is doing. I have used the latest drivers, the drivers I used when it worked (on the old computer), a different PCI slot but all have the same result. I put it back into my old computer and it worked fine and normal.

Any one have any ideas?

I have a spare hard drive so I might install another copy of vista onto that and see if it works on a fresh install, if it does then a reformat is in order (already!)

I have tried all versions of drivers that I can get my hands on, they either find no channels or just the BBC channels. Tried it back in my old computer and it picks up all the channels that I can. So it is a driver issues and not reception or the card itself.
