    WMP for 64-bit Vista dead in the water

    No matter my reinstallation, currently WMP v. 11.0.6000.6344, opens to almost as immediately close. Please advise.

    Try downloading k-lite64, it is WMP 6 and has all the codecs for playback of just about ANYTHING. And then try to run WMP11 and see what happens.
