Vista Home Premium x64

Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone can help me. I installed Windows Vista Home Premium over 2 weeks ago on my computer (Intel Pentium 4 3.4 GHz, 1GB RAM, Radeon X800GT Video Driver). Media Center was working all the time, until about 2 days ago, when vista would not boot up in normal mode, then the computer said that the Windows Vista key was out of date. Considering I had the legal OEM key, (due to my luck, I have now lost the key ) and I have tried all repairs, system restores, everything possible..Now Vista is stuck at my password screen, and when i go to type my password in and press enter, it reboots. I have only been able to access my computer from using Safe Mode, but now thats not working properly either. If anyone could help me with my problem(s), I would be very appreciative. Thanks in advance. |

You might wanna try windows customer support. A problem such as the likes of yours should be dealt with professionally.
And, I think you shoulda posted in a different thread, as this doesn't really belong here, seeing as how your biggest problem isn't windows media centre. |

because you have an oem product, you cannot get support from Microsoft. Try to find your key and reinstall your current copy. otherwise, u have to get a new copy of vista and install that into your computer.

And it honestly sounds as if you are actually infected with some Malware, as this is not standard behavior in Windows Vista.
