The Blu-ray movies now check for legitimate/revoked player keys before allowing playback. Even licensed players (Cyberlink, WinDVD) are having dificulty with new releases. Since MCE doesnt have Blu-ray keys required for playback, I doubt the extentions will work without using a AACS/BD+ encryption stipping program(Slysoft AnyDVD HD). Removes BD+ copy protection from Blu-ray Discs. Removes region codes from Blu-ray Discs. Last edited by rive0108; 06-28-2008 at 06:32 AM. |

With a registry hack, you can add a menu option that allows you to start an external player from the Media Center interface, but that is, to put it charitably, a kludge. This is a feature that needs to be added to Media Center sooner rather than later. " http://blogs.zdnet.com/Bott/?p=294 Last edited by rive0108; 06-28-2008 at 06:11 AM. |
