 Member Rep Power: 6  |  WMC -garbled audio = HELP About a week ago..after seven mos of perfect playback...WMC would all of a sudden freeze during playback of live TV. Would have to close it and restart. Now... If it starts OK..the audio playback is gibberish. Nothing has changed as far as settings go. Worked last nite..now it's gibberish audio. Other audio playback from PC, like iTunes, is fine. Now, what can I do here? |

| Member Rep Power: 6 | Re: WMC -garbled audio = HELP and how would I do that? how would I replace them? PS- a reboot corrected the gibberish problem. I would still like to make it so it didn't FREEZE anymore. would a reinstall over current program from the source install CD help? |

Click the Start button and then in the search bar type device - you should see it pop in at the top of the list. |

If it is only happening on Live TV I'd check your TV tuner first as it interfaces between your cable and your computer - MCE has nothing to do with that, it just displays what it gets from the tuner. |

Sorry, old habits die hard. So, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your TV tuner drivers? |
