Setup fails for Windows Media Center 64bit

I am trying to run the setup for Windows Media Center but every time I select an option I receive the following error:

I read another forum to remove AWM. I tried that and it still does the same thing. Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You!!!

This is basically - and unfortunately - one of those 'suck it and see' type problems. You are likely to have some component or component-complex which is failing at some delicate point in the installation. The long, quivering, bony finger of retribution and blame often points at memory. You have to try and run the installation routine in a stripped-down mode; one stick of RAM, say, or an older graphics card, to try and achieve a stable platform. By 'component-complex' I mean you know component A and component B both work fine. What may be problematical is A+B in this context. I know this is all vague and hand-waving but that's often the way- it's the inevitable downside of open architecture
