| Vista Ultimate x64 | 5.1 not working After not getting sleep to work on my MCE i reinstalled. Now surround sound works outside of MCE perfectly. The tests for DTS etc work fine through the sound control panel, selecting 7.1. Seeing i have 5.1 setup i uncheck the side speakers and everything is good. When running in media centre i choose 5.1 or 7.1 i get stereo output, or problems. This is vista 64 bit ultimate using the default MPEG codec. short of uninstalling all drivers (video and audio) an clening the registry and trying to reinstall drivers on a fresh install, anyone got any ideas ? |

| ultimate 64 bit | Re: 5.1 not working i had de same problems i destalled all vista codecs and installed k lite and use the sound codec from power dvd and i have 5.1 hope it helps |
