How can I "mix" mp3's?

I used CDex to rip cd's into mp3's. I do not hear any gaps between the tracks when listening to the CD (it's a continuous mix) , but when I listen to the mp3's derived from the CD the gaps are very clearly heard.

Here are two objectives:
1.) Eliminate the gap
or
2.) Merge the tracks into one mp3 file

Is there software that can do this? Drop me a dime please!!
