WMA file

Anyone,

I can't play my recorded audios using media center or media player 11 in my windows vista ultimate x86. i tried it many times, but it always say that the file extension doesn't match the file.. i tried to play the file using nero, it worked there. i also tried to install the media player codecs 4.7.3 but stuill it doesn't work.. i want to know whats wrong about it.
Thanks!!

the output file of my recorded sounds are ".wma"

Also, i tried to play some songs with the like file extensions, some played some didn't.
