Launch a Game From Media Center.

Hi there guys, I was looking in the Assassins Creed folder and there was a "AssassinsCreed_Launcher-MCE".
What is that?
is it possible for me to launche a game from inside the Media Center?
Choose a game the same way I choose a movie!?

Thanks.

Re: Launch a Game From Media Center.

As far as I'm aware ,you can launch the pre-installed MS games easily enough, but to get other games working requires a bit of effort with mixed results. Then again, I've never tried it.

Is this the Australian Site? Plenty of useful info regarding media Center there.

You may want to have a look at this:

I haven't tried it, so I can't vouch for it's success.

Realistically though, you would probably be better off NOT using media Center to launch games that require heavy CPU/Memory usage.

Good luck though

Yeh, that is the australian site.

I did a fast reading and they found a way to configure the following thing:
1- Launch from Media Center.
2- Media Center Closes.
3- Game Launches.
4- You exit the game.
5- Media Center Launches back.

I will try something, and than post here.

Re: Launch a Game From Media Center.

Why would you want to run a game through Media Center anyway? Is it for a media center PC?

lol

If the launcher closes VMC, then restarts VMC, it sound like a good idea. I hope you get it working We can't have you cold or skinny
