movie maker
hi guys, i have home premium and are having a lot of trouble when it comes to movies and transfering dv. my problem now is i'm trying to convert a file from my E drive so i can watch it on a dvd player. each time i try to transfer it to movie maker or dvd maker the programs shut down and says a problem has occured. whats wrong????

What type of video files are you playing with and to let you know...DVD compatable video files are very specific and if they don;t match you cannot create a DVD video to play on your DVD player.
More details would be helpful so we can give you a meaningful response

oh, sorry about that, but i 'm only learning how to use a pc at the moment. the file is an avi i think and yes it is shutting down due to DEP. and i can't turn DEP off to MM.

hello, how do you turn off DEP, thats the reason why DVD maker keeps shutting down, i've tryed to turn it off but i get a message that DEP can't be turned off on DVD maker. any more surgestions
