| Vista Home | Problems with Imgsl.ax file..... Help.....when viewing video clips (mpg, avi) I get a constant error message referring to a file Imgsl.ax and a site to go to, to sort it out...unregistering the file. When I try to do this I get the following, The module "Impgsl.ax" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary dependant .DLL files. The specified module could not be found. I don't know if its relevant but when trying to import mpg or avi files to Windows MovieMaker I get a warning telling me I cannot import as I don't have the right codecs. I can import *.wmv files OK. I can play avi & mpg's in Wndows Media Player. I can follow instructions, but am lost here. RANT: I have had Vista for 3 months and have had nothing but problems. I am an end user but in my defense I started using the internet way back with Windows 3.1 on an IBM (not clone) 25Hz clock,4Mg RAM. I got more done back then than I do now. Stuff was slower but reliable. I am not an idiot, stuff just doesn't bloody well work. Is it just me? END OF RANT Help. |
