| Vista Ultimate x64 | System Locks I have a system running Vista Ultimate 64-bit that locks up running Windows Media Center, Roxio Creator DE & Lightroom. With Windows Media Center the mouse cursor disappears, Roxio when burning disk to disk at 90-95% it fails (mouse disappears) and Lightroom the mouse disappears as well. I have made sure that the pointer trails and enabled shadow for the mouse settings. I also have the mouse cursor set to windows default pointer. The keyboard and mouse are a wireless USB set made by Logitech. The OS is fully patch and running SP1 on a Dell dual quad-core with 12 Gig of RAM. The only other point that I can think to mention is that that user I'm supporting on this system has repeatedly performed a hard shut-down once the system locks up on them. Any feedback or suggestions would be much appreciated. |
