How to burn a DVD and remove commercials

    hello all,

I recorded a movie on a network and it has commercials. Is there a way to burn the DVD without the commercials? I can view it pretty good in media center and fast fwd the commercials but a bit of a hassle. If I can burn without the commercials that would be great. Any advice will be appreciated

The only way I can think of is to import the media into Movie Maker (or the like) and manually edit out the commercials. It would take a few minutes but then they would be gone once you create the new video file.

Give VideoReDo a try. It seeks out and cuts the commercials automatically. You can also edit frame by frame if you wish.

You can use LifeExtender Its a free and very easy
automatic commercial removing tool. You can show it where your Record Folder is and it will grab all new recordings and edit them and then put them back for you to watch or burn with no commercials.

    Hope this helps out
