Windows media center TV wont start

    Windows media center TV wont start

    hey im having some problmes with media center when i click on the live tv botton to watch tv a box pops up saying

    CANNOT START WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER
    A required Windows Media Center component could not be started.
    Please restart your computer and try again. If the problem presists,
    contact your hardware manufacturer for assistance.
    [ OK ]

    thats the excat thing that pops up anyone know how to fix it? i tryed to restart and it still doesnt work. yesterday it was working perfectly but today this problem appeared

    OK, I'm going to assume that Media Center does open, but when you click "live tv" you get the "CANNOT START WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER" error?

    Look in device manager to see if the tuner card is working properly, also try updating/reinstalling the latest drivers for the tuner card.

    Also, can you play other media in Media Center? DVD, music, other stuff? If so, it may be just a problem with the tuner card.

    i can play dvds i just cant open guide or tv or anything related to the tv and if i do click them i ge tthe error
