The Best Video Plugin Ever!!

I just wanted to show the world the best Media Center Plugin I have found!

This is MediaBrowser
AND IT'S FREE .................

It can do it all and much, much more!
Sort out Giant Library's over multiple HDD's or even PC's
Find cover and backdrop's with no help.
It has the best UI I've ever seen.
I'm going to shut up and let the pictures talk for me! Check it out!

MediaBrowser is a community driven program and so is this thread.
I am always on the lookout for the little things, that most no one knows, to help other people out, so if you know something that may help others.!
please tell me so I can add it in. And of coarse give you all the credit!

Do to excessive traffic on my drop box I am having to redirect you to another page to see this post.

You can still talk to me here. I am email linked to the thread.

Here is a little video I put together to show off the Vanilla Theme and the new Home Page.
You messed up try again

The UI is great but I find the collection management not so good as MyMovies 2. It's shame that the two couldn''t be merged

Re: The Best Video Plugin Ever!!

I take no credit for any of the icons or photos, or work of any kind
Other than putting this collection together in one place

All This was possible because of the hard work from
Credits:
Xzener
movnup
Groove
cushty
Olywa123
And the list goes on......

So please Enjoy,

Re: The Best Video Plugin Ever!!

Hey! Thanks very, very much for the ImagesByName...That is a great help.

Too bad there is not a plugin that will look at all your DVDs and automatically download the Actor Photos for them

BTW, what does the MediaInfo.dll do?

Thanks again.

CoachGary.

No problem.

The media Info.dll goes in you sys32 folder and will add richer info to your movies i.e. file type, ratings and a few other things (see pic Let The Right One In)
if your on a x64 OS use the x64dll and put it in the sys32 and WOW64 folders

Also Here is another tool that will Automatically scan your library and fetch All MetaData,Backdrops,Posters,Banners,Actor Pics, Hell Everything
For TV or Movies
Meta<Browser/>

Hope this helps out

Re: The Best Video Plugin Ever!!

OK, yours looks great!
Now why does mine look simple like the plain blue background with pictures of the DVD box covers with no other poster size until I select them?

I would like to do something like your "Lost" episodes and Harry Potter. Can someone give a quick tutorial or point me to where there is one?

Also, my media browser does not have a configuration box as shown in the post.

Re: The Best Video Plugin Ever!!

OK
First Thank You.

There are a few things you need to do to get yours to look like mine.
First unhide your hidden folders.
Then go to Program Data/Media Browse/Startup, and add a jpg of your choice named backdrop. This will show on your startup page.
You can find the config tool in your Windows start menu Media Browser folder.
Use this to add your choice of icons to the first folders that MB sees.
Also I have my theme set to vanilla and have show backdrops checked.

If you need any more help or if I was not clear please let me know
