Windows media center

Hi all I keep on getting this error message when I try an open media center
"You are currently logged on as a Guest. Windows Media Center requires a non-Guest account. If you need to change you user account type, contact the owner of this system." I am the administrator and there are no other users or accounts. How do I fix this problem?

Thanks in advance

Re: Windows media center

You might try to enable the Super Admin Account.

To turn on this 'super' administrator account, type cmd in the search box WAIT don't hit enter! cmd will appear at top. Rt click on it to 'run as administrator'.
go enable this account, type this command & hit Enter:
Net user administrator /active:yes To disable this account, type this command & hit Enter:
Net user administrator /active:no If you decide need a password for the administrator's account that you are going to activate or if you are unable to activate it with a blank password:
Net user administrator P@$$w0rd
Net user administrator activate:yes
Hit enter. You will get a message: The command completed successfully.
(Where P@$$w0rd has been taken as an example password)
Switch user and log on using this password.

Re: Windows media center

Hi thanks for your message. I think I am doing something wrong. I opened computer and in the top right hand corner I typed in cmd then rt clicked on it and all I got was a drop down box. Did not see the anything that would let me run as administrator. I'm baffled.

Regards

An easier way is to go to the Start Menu then go to "All Programs" then select "Accessories" and you will see "Command Prompt", right click on this icon and you should see Run as Administrator. Continue from this point with the original post.
