The ones that do work great with wmc and the ones that don't are blank but you can select the folder and it streams perfectly. I have tried every way I can dream up to do this and no success. Hi.

For WMC to display the icon, you need to ensure that the jpeg is named 'folder' within the film directory. If you do this, there is no need to use the customise tab.
