Re: Desktop icon in Video Folder

You can delete it if you don't need it in there.

are you talking about inside the videos folder in your documents or a seperate video folder, this is whats in my video folder below, and the only link/icon thats in there is the sample videos.

Re: Desktop icon in Video Folder

yeah, very strange...is it maybe something about my network?
seems like it is a sharing folder from MediaCenter to my PC.
But I checked on Vista and it's all ok...I have not sharing folders enabled, so I don't know where to look for more.
I hope to find it out, especially now that I fixed everything with MediaCenter.

erkole
Are you asking how to remove a desktop icon?

Right click the desktop icon you want to remove

Click Cut (not delete)

Move pointer to the Recycle Bin

Click Paste

Re: Desktop icon in Video Folder

If I right click inside the MediaCenter another option menu comes out. That's the problem...there's no delete or cut option there.
The desktop icon is together with Movies and in truth is a link to my PC desktop that I wouldn't like to see there.
Is it clear now?
Bye

Re: Desktop icon in Video Folder

Not clear, but then I don't use media center.
Sorry that cut and paste didn't get rid of your icon.
