MediaCenter with Cyberlink PowerDVD9 MPEG2 codec

Hello, I installed PowerDVD9 on my machine.
I noticed some DVD playback problems with MediaCenter's default MPEG2 codec (Microsoft MPEG2) so I wanted to try the Cyberlink.
I have downloaded the small Shark's utility which allows you to choose what VIDEO or AUDIO codec you want to use but I cant find the Cyberlink video codec in that menu list.
I already tried to choose a different codec but MediaCenter didn't play my dvds anymore, cos no codec recognized.
Anybody knows how to work it out?

Re: MediaCenter with Cyberlink PowerDVD9 MPEG2 codec

Dear friend when I have first insalled my Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit my Media Center works just fine.I*ve noticed that every time I switch my Media Center my P.C. runs out of memory...and after few times I decide to disable Media center.I have installed CyberLinkPower DVD9 just like you and it work quite all right.I have also Shark*s codecs on my P.C. 32bit and 64 bit. There is a latest update of Shark*s codecs and I recomend it to you.You can find it on the web...I am a musician and I have a lot of music softwares on my P.C. but the point is Nero9.0.9.4b Ultra Edition has a superior quality and you should have it on your P.C. like I have.I have uninstall CyberLinkPowerDVD9 from my P.C. bacause I find out that Nero9 is a better solution...It has everything you need ....MPEG,MPEG2,MPEG3,MPEG4...You can play and record HD movies with DTS(DigitalTheatre Surround) 7.1 So do not hesitate...find Nero9.0.9.4b ultra Edition on the web and insatll it on your P.C. The software has 1.7GB ....I am using in it on my machine and I am very pleased how it works. My regards to you and I think this will be helpful...
