Hello guys,
I am planning to buy a blu ray drive for my computer, and wanted to know that do these blu ray burners or readers have and regional codes or restrictions like DVD's?

Yes. Basically the same as a DVD drive, you can set the Region and change it up to 5 times(IIRC) before it it Region locked.

Or get yourself slysoft's AnyDVD, works with Blu-Ray and standard DVDs, and strips the regional coding. A bit pricey, but if have DVDs/Blu-Rays from different regions, it's worth every cent.
