| Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (Bata) & Windows Vista Ultimate x64 Sp2 & Windows XP Professional x32 Sp3 | Re: PLEASE HELP!! DVD / CD Wont play What codecs are you using? If you have a x64 OS you will need to install both x32+x64 for everything to play right. I recommend ffdshow or shark codec pack Ok maybe never mind. I just reread your Q and saw the cd part. so it may be a hardware prob. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: PLEASE HELP!! DVD / CD Wont play so, the computer knows the drive is there, but it won't let anything play? So You start the computer. Open the DVD drive, put in a disc, and close it. What happenes next? If nothing happens, it could just be a bad autorun file or something silly. Try exploring the drive, do you see any data? If the computer doesn't recognize the drives, it could be a simple hardware problem, make sure they are connected properly. |
