New computer, couple silly questions.

I just built a new computer with Vista Ultimate x64, and have never used "Media Center" Before. I have a couple DVD's I would like to copy to my hard drive.

When I click the Media Center Link, it takes me to a setup screen. Express, custom, or later. I keep exiting out of it.

Should I copy my movies before setting it up, or after?

I am very picky with my new computer, and very scared of spyware/adware/viruses, etc.... So I do not download anything until I know it is very safe. I noticed we have a stickied thread about a plugin. Anyone have ANY spyware/virus problems from that?

You can set up you media center, and add media to it any time you want afterward. The sticky is my thread and no there is 100% 0 spyware/virus at all. If you give it a go and need any help with it just let me know and I will be happy to guide the way.
